ACT Preparation
$95 / hour

Students work with a tutor one on one or in small groups of two to four students. A tutor helps students determine their goal scores for the test and helps them devise a strategy for preparing for the test. The tutor will teach the student strategies to use when taking the test, provide practice problems or the student to work on both during and outside of the session, and review material that will be on the test.
SAT Preparation

Students work one on one with a tutor who explains the format of the test and who reviews the material that will be on the test. The tutor gives the student general test taking strategies that the student will find beneficial on a variety of tests he or she will have to take in high school.
AP Test Preparation
$95 / hour
Students work one on one with a tutor. The tutor helps the student determine what her/his goals are for the test and helps the student devise a study plan for the test. The tutor explains general test taking strategies to help the student and also explains to the format and process of the test. The material is reviewed and practice tests and problems are worked on both inside and outside of the sessions.
Science
$80 / hour
The student works one on one with a tutor in the subject of science they need help with. Science subjects include Physics, Biology, Chemistry, and any of the other sciences. The tutor helps the student determine their goals for the subject and helps them devise a plan for how the tutoring sessions will assist with those goals. The tutor will help explain any and all material the student does not understand and will provide outside resources to help supplement the student’s learning and progression with the subject.
Math
$80/ hour
The student works one on one with a tutor in the subject of math they need help with. Math subjects include all level of Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry, Calculus, Statistics and Probability and any other math subject. The tutor helps the student determine their goals for the subject and helps them devise a plan for how the tutoring sessions will assist with those goals. The tutor will help explain any and all material the student does not understand and will provide outside resources to help supplement the student’s learning and progression with the subject
Humanities Subjects
$80 / hour
The Humanities covers subjects pertaining to Social Studies and Literature. Subjects we provide support for here include Critical Reading and Reading Comprehension, Grammar, Writing, Literature, History, Geography, Government and Politics. The tutor helps the student determine their goals for the subject and helps them devise a plan for how the tutoring sessions will assist with those goals. The tutor will help explain any and all material the student does not understand and will provide outside resources to help supplement the student’s learning and progression with the subject.
Languages
$80 / hour
We provide tutoring for Spanish, Italian, and Portuguese. The tutor helps the student determine their goals for the subject and helps them devise a plan for how the tutoring sessions will assist with those goals. The tutor will help explain any and all material the student does not understand and will provide outside resources to help supplement the student’s learning and progression with the subject.
Study and Organization Skills
$65 / hour
A tutor works with a student one on one to help the student devise and implement a plan for getting organized. The tutor also teaches the student organization and study skills. During the session the tutor and the student practice these skills and the tutor gives the students assignments to practice these skills outside of the sessions. Each session begins with a backpack assessment, a planner check, and a binder check to ensure the student is staying organized and practicing their new found skills.
